Tibial Tuberosity Advancement

Our flagship product the Fusion TTA implant consists of a wedge and dynamic tension plate, both constructed from Titanium alloy and fixed into position using a Ellis pin and a titanium screw. The wedge has a novel design and is porous with characteristics which are shown to optimise bone in-growth and fixation. This porosity has an architecture which is akin to trabecular bone.

However, because the manufacturing process is infinitely flexible we are able to incorporate solid sections, where appropriate, into the designs for maximum benefit. The plate is solid, and can be manipulated into the required shape, to conform with the shape of the tibia. Instrumentation has been designed and manufactured to a high standard to provide the means to carry out the surgery efficiently and accurately. Stainless steel has been used for this purpose to give the instruments the correct hardness and provide the necessary durability for long-term service use.
